Guild Projects
Guild Challenge: Every two years (even numbered years) the HHQ Programs Committee determines what new quilting challenge guild members may participate. Members who complete the challenge project are encouraged to unveil them at the September meeting and then enter them in the next Quilt Show.
Charity Quilts: Each year the Charity Quilt Committee organizes the construction and distribution of charity quilts that are given to local area hospitals, shelters and other organizations in need. Organizations that have benefited in the past include Hudson Hospital, River Falls Area Hospital and Project Linus.
Other Charitable Contributions: HHQ also designates funds from projects such as the Quilt Show raffle quilt to benefit local organizations. Proceeds from the 2007 raffle quilt went to local area foodshelves in Hudson, River Falls, Roberts and Ellsworth.
In addition, guild members donate supplies annually for the Salvation Army/Grace Place Shelter and local food shelves.
